Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the CSAI Days 2026 website (csaidays.medi-asd.org) and participating in any CSAI Days 2026 programme (Hackathon, Conference, or Industrial Talks), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or register for the event.
2. Event Registration
Registration for the Hackathon and sponsorship enquiries is conducted through external Google Forms. Conference paper submissions use Microsoft CMT. By submitting a registration, you:
- Provide accurate, complete, and current information
- Agree to the terms and privacy policies of the respective external service (Google, Microsoft)
- Understand that registration does not guarantee participation — selection criteria apply
3. Hackathon Rules
Hackathon participants must comply with the following:
- Teams of 1–5 people; all members must be registered
- Every project must use artificial intelligence meaningfully to solve a real problem
- Agentic AI, autonomous agents, tool calling, external APIs, and real-time APIs are optional
- Projects must be original work created during the Hackathon period
- No plagiarism, copyright infringement, or use of unauthorized third-party code/assets
- Compliance with the Code of Conduct (see below)
4. Code of Conduct
CSAI Days 2026 is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- Harassment, discrimination, or offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, or national origin
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following
- Harassing photography or recording
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention
Participants violating these rules may be expelled from the event without refund (if applicable) and banned from future editions. Report violations to csaidays@uae.ac.ma or event staff.
5. Intellectual Property
Website content (text, images, logos, design) is owned by the CSAI Days organizers or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written consent.
Hackathon projects remain the intellectual property of their creators. By submitting, you grant organizers a non-exclusive license to showcase your project for event promotion.
6. Limitation of Liability
The website and event are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Organizers are not liable for:
- Interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the website
- Data loss, unauthorized access, or security breaches
- External service failures (Google Forms, Microsoft CMT)
- Injury, loss, or damage arising from event participation
Total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Registration fees, where applicable, are listed on the relevant event page. Sponsorship packages are subject to separate agreements.
Organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event due to force majeure, public health, or safety concerns. Participants will be notified via the website and registered contact channels.
8. External Links
This website contains links to external services (Google Forms, Microsoft CMT, Google Maps, sponsor websites). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these external sites.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tétouan.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
